Cipro (Ciprofloxacin)

Cipro is applied at therapy of different bacterial infections of gastroenteric tract, bladder, infections of upper respiratory tract (antritis, frontitis, tonsillitis ), respiratory diseases (pneumonia, acute and chronic bronchitis), genito-urinary system (pyelonephritis, cystitis), bones and joints (osteomyelitis).

Consult with your attending physician according dosage definition and follow his recommendations.

Administer Cipro advisable in two (2) hours after eating, with a full glass of water.

Intake of vitamins or multivitamin preparations, containing minerals, is not advised less than within two (2) hours after using Cipro or minimum in six (6) hours before admission of Cipro.

For best result it is recommended to administer Cipro regularly during all course of treatment even if you felt the improvement in a few days.

Do not use Cipro with milk products and milk.

Cipro disturbs DNA synthesis, growth and mitosis of bacteria and causes thier fast death.

Administer Cipro as it was prescribed by your attending physician. If you missed your regular dose - take it as it will be possible, do not take more than 1 dose.

Store Cipro in protected from high temperature, light and moisture place, away from children..

Precautions
With caution Cipro is used at advanced age, severe cerebral atherosclerosis, stroke, mental deseases, epileptic syndrome, epilepsy, severe renal or hepatic failure.

Restrictions
Lactation, pregnancy, hypersensibility to fluoroquinolones and Cipro in particular.

It is not advisable joint application of Cipro with antacides, medications with zinc, alluminium, magnesium ions, alkaline mineral waters - Cipro absorbtion is decreased.

Cipro can cause several side effects:

increased fatigue, anxiety, migraine, tachycardia, hypotonia, urinary retention, depressive state, hallucinations, nettle rash, swelling of the face or throat, dark urine, anaemia, disturbances of taste and smell, drug fever.
