    sso-checked=true I'm six weeks pregnant and jumped in this convo because I had just read a study where in some t ypes of APA's, Lovenox and Bany Aspirin are not enough. If we can't afford IVIG and insurance (of course) will not cover it, would Plaquenil be beneficial as well for those specific antibodies? I was borderline positive on a few and positive for one of the Lupus anticoagulants.

    I would be very suspect for anti paternal HLA antibodies here which are not necessarily 'auto" abs, and IVIG and lovenox and prednisone would be the best treatments. First I can make no recommendations without a thorough history and evaluation of your case.

    Bambinoshar I had already been on plaquenil prior to ivf because of the lupus and I have to stay on it right through. it was my first time on steroids and clexane and I also took aspirin-i think the combination helped this time, not sure if these are drugs that have been mentioned to you but I have heard loads of people having success with some. Plaquenil is an arthritis medication and an anti infectious agent. Uses Plaquenil is prescribed for Lupus, RA, Sjogren's Syndrome and Joint Pain and is mostly mentioned together with these indications. Hi I'm also on plaquenil for lupus. This cycle I used that alongside prednisolone and clexane and it seemed to make a difference. The good thing about plaquenil is it has no effects on baby, infact it's supposed to help people with immune issues carry babies when they have struggled to do so xx
